Osteria Il Frantoio

Excellent restaurant in the upper part of Soverato, among small and charming alleys. The structure looks just like an oil mill adapted into a restaurant. Excellent attention to covid regulations (except for condiments which are not disposable). It has a menu that varies from meat to fish and has a vegan space. The dishes are very tasty, innovative and well presented. Balanced quality-price ratio for what it offers but with a cost that is not within everyone's reach which fortunately excludes it from mass tourism. Very good service and done with great care even if with some very small mistakes (we had to request bread that was not served and they took away the water at the end of the second course even though the bottle was not empty).... very professional, but I suggest greater empathy.

One of the best restaurant in soverato

Very characteristic, beautiful and with a truly intimate and comfortable atmosphere. Excellent quality dishes and fresh fish expertly presented by courteous and kind staff. The portions are a bit like a top restaurant so they may seem a little small but the quality is unquestionable and it's worth a visit. It was once an old oil mill and inside there is still the stone millstone and other tools. Optimal.

Great food great service!

Small restaurant very characteristic for its original destination: an old oil mill in the center of the town. Not a very extensive but well-defined menu with refined and quality fish and meat dishes. Good service with staff present at the table, efficient and courteous. Prices are adequate in relation to the quality of the raw material. Recommended for those who want a welcoming and not at all noisy environment.

Requests were addressed/price performance was top/quality was very goodThe only thing that needs to be optimized is the serving process. When the meat was finished, the side dishes came first, but it wasn't that tragic for us!Very nice restaurant and very nice and polite staff.

Stunning location, former oil mill reused and there are still old millstones to make the place even more characteristic. Excellent cuisine with lots of variety, I highly recommend the catch of the day, I never forget that baked red snapper.
